 impson Memorials has been providing high quality monuments, markers and granite products to Port Hope and area for almost 30 years since Mauri Simpson first opened for business in 1975. Originally located on Lavinia St., the business has grown over the years and by 1990 the need for larger premises became apparent. In 1990 the Simpson family relocated Simpson Memorials to its present location at 111 Toronto Rd. This current facility provides both indoor and outdoor display areas as well as offices, studio space and ample parking.
Simpson Memorials is still very much a family business, managed today by Dean Simpson, Mauri's son. Mauri's wife Elaine is the company bookkeeper and another son Barry is employed part time for monument lettering.
